Pythagorean Factorization steps as function of key size shows how the number of steps needed to factor a key explodes at around the mark of 50-bit keys. Grant's MS Paint example data point has been added on the graph (in red), to show just how deceivingly small and meaningless numbers his crank algorithms are demonstrated with. The values can be verified from the implementation, available at [1]
